All babies are precious but I can’t help but get a little extra excited when I get to photograph twins! Who doesn’t love soft newborn skin, tiny fingers and toes! One of the great things about journalist baby photos done in your home is they can be done at a later baby stage. These babies where a little older but they did great! As a newborn photographer I highly recommend parents of multiples to consider twins lifestyle photos. Often, twins are born early and spend a lot of time in the NICU. Which can make it tough to get in for baby pictures in that 2 week window for studio newborn photography. All parents already know the madness of getting adjusted to life with a newborn, now can you imagine making that two!! Sometimes two weeks can just be too soon for some parents.

One of the best parts of lifestyle newborn photo sessions are they are done in the comfort of your own home. In turn, making it possible to capture you interacting with your new baby in the most natural way possible. Since you are at home these sessions are so much more relaxed because you have everything you need at your fingertips. I’ve noticed that parents seem to be more relaxed too! Which makes it much easier for the babies as well. Of course I still love studio newborn photography as well.
