Romantic Maternity Photos

With this late winter season rolling in here in Las Vegas it has got me thinking of romantic maternity photos! I love everything about them, from the elegant black maternity gown with the furry vest to the stylish jet black suit. Of course we can’t forget the black lace maternity gown. There is no better outfit choice more fitting than black lace for romantic maternity photos! I absolutely love the look and feel it adds to these maternity portraits!

When Mindy told me she wanted to change it up a little, I was so excited to hear her vision for the shoot! She had done a more bright colored maternity session when she was pregnant with her daughter. She wanted to do something different and unique. Steering away from the poppy bright colors that are so commonly done for maternity photos. She wanted something truly classy and elegant for her maternity portraits. Im pretty sure we where all just gawking over the pictures at the back of camera screen during the shoot. While I know they where a little nervous of colors scheme. I know they where pleasantly surprised when they saw the photos!

We ventured out to a fun location in Henderson that I love to shoot at! I have done our own family portraits there several times for Christmas, spring family photos, and kiddos birthday photos! Here you’ll see the beautiful images we captured. While being surrounded by trees! Yes, I said surrounded by trees! I know greenery is not very common in the Las Vegas area. However, you can always count on a seasoned maternity photographer to have some good locations up her sleeve!

So congrats to Mindy and Coltyn for baby number 2! I can’t wait to meet the new little one!!
