As a photographer and friend nothing makes me feel more honored than when one of our friends ask me to capture their pregnancy photos. I know this is such a special time to be remembered. So I love that so many women are now choosing to document each pregnancy with beautiful pregnancy photos.

The Downfall Of Winter Maternity Photography

While winter can be such a beautiful and magical time of year. It can also be such a challenge for announcement or pregnancy photos. Most all locations the greenery has gone dormant for the winter. The mountain locations can be gorgeous. However, remember it can also have it’s own set of headaches. Between the several feet of snow to stand in, purple hands and noses from the cold, and a busy mountain full of sledding children. It can sometimes be not worth it depending on the couple. Lake Las Vegas

I love Lake Las Vegas for it’s traditional look. It’s very classy and elegant and I feel like you can never go wrong with that! Another bonus point for the Lake Las Vegas location is, it always looks the same no matter the season! Most of the greenery they have there is evergreen so you don’t have to worry about leaf-less tree limbs.

The Dress

The dress that Sandra chose is the Emerlie Gown from Sew Trendy Accessories. Seriously, I love all their gowns and this burgundy color created the perfect pop of color. The quality of their gowns are unmatched. This is especially true if you’re looking online at sites like Amazon. Don’t be fooled with the knock of gowns. More often than not those gowns never arrive as they where in the maternity dress photos.

Sandra you truly looked absolutely stunning! To say you are glowing as an expecting mommy is an understatement! We are beyond excited for you and Nick. We know you two will be the best parents, surrounding this little one with so much love! Can’t help but be so excited to snuggle her!!
