Over the years child photographers everywhere have been capturing first birthday sessions with the traditional cake smash photos! While they are all super cute, messy and fun. It’s always exciting to try something different! A lot of modern Mommy’s no days are loving all the Donut Grow Up Cake Smash ideas! Who doesn’t love frosting, sprinkles, and Pink Box Doughnuts (a local Las Vegas speciality donut shop). If you haven’t tried Pink Box you’re missing out!!

I would say setting up this Donut Grow Up cake smash session was awesome and so fun! Loved every part about putting it together except the crazy sweet tooth right after! This little princess loved trying out all the sweet treats. When she got tired of donuts and sprinkles she moved onto the donut shaped cake we had made for her! Favorite activities for her during the smash include… snack, play, singing. By sing I mean dancing around and clapping while we sing crazy songs to get her attention lol.
